Menopause symptoms can be relieved by NASA-funded technology !

NASA is funding this project to develop technology to alleviate symptoms of menopause

Clothing with temperature-regulating properties was created by Fifty One Apparel, based in London. During the 1980s, NASA was looking for ways to improve the insulation of spacesuit gloves at the Houston, Texas, Johnson Space Center. The Triangle Research and Development Corporation awarded Johnson a Small Business Innovation Research contract to investigate phase-change materials.

During the phase transition from solid to liquid, the materials maintain a constant temperature. Through embedding phase-change materials into microcapsules within a fabric insert, Triangle could demonstrate the effectiveness of temperature-stabilizing fabrics for spacesuit gloves. Upon purchasing Triangle’s exclusive patent rights, Gateway Technologies became Outlast Technologies and began marketing the material as Outlast.

CDC STANDARDS SAY MORE THAN 75% OF AMERICANS DO NOT GET ENOUGH EXERCISE.

It didn’t seem like any brands were using the tech for menopause until Louise Nicholson, the founder of Fifty One Apparel, noticed it. There are 1.3 million Americans who begin cancer treatment every year, according to the National Institutes of Health Menopause symptoms Every year. When women reach menopause, they usually experience hot flashes, which can last for years. A woman’s last period is 12 months after this point.
