It Looks Like The AirPods Pro 2 Will Launch At Apple’s ‘Far Out’ Event

A new report confirms that Apple will also release the AirPods Pro 2 at its upcoming ‘Far Out’ launch event, which will be one of the biggest of 2022. With the AirPods Pro, Apple has launched one of the best wireless earbuds currently available on the market, competing against the recently released Pixel Buds Pro and Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

The AirPods are available in four different versions at the moment. Among the AirPods (second generation), the AirPods 3 released in 2021 are the most affordable. Then there are the AirPods Pro and the AirPods Max. There is something unique about each of the headphones, either in terms of features or price. The AirPods standard model offers the classic AirPods experience, while Apple’s over-the-ear headphones are the only over-the-ear option.

Earlier this year, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple would release updated AirPods and AirPods Pro earbuds. While Apple launched the 3rd generation AirPods as the AirPods (3rd generation) last year, the AirPods Pro never received a successor. According to Gurman, the AirPods Pro 2 are among the devices he expects Apple to announce at its upcoming event in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter. The Apple Watch SE 2 is one of three updated models of the Apple Watch, along with four iPhone 14 models.
